
Sarah Williams — Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Reason I work at TWH: I enjoy being challenged every single day. I’m not one for repetition and knowing exactly how the day is going to go, so this is a great place for me.
Favorite TWH property to stay at: Hilton Chandler. Beautiful. Though TownePlace Suites Houston Airport is a very close second.
Favorite TWH moment: Traveling with Gene Carter and Jeff Blackman to share best practices with all of our sales associates in all of our markets – in a single week.
Sarah knows a thing or two about hospitality. (Or six.) Fact is, she's worked in the industry since she was 20. So she's pretty much done it all.
Armed with a bachelor's in business administration from the University of Texas at Dallas, she spent four years in operations serving as a general manager. Followed by another two years as an area director of sales.
She then spent a couple of years in marketing and e-commerce. A busy two years, we might add, because Sarah provided e-commerce direction and strategy – including search engine marketing and search engine optimization – for more than 160 select service and extended stay properties throughout the Southwest.
And never one to shy away from a new challenge, Sarah then spent a couple of years in marketing planning and media buying for a range of full-service hotels in Texas, Colorado and Oklahoma.
Oh, and there's one other area in which Sarah has great expertise–being an awesome mom to her and husband Dan's two young daughters.
