What I’ve learned at TWH: Change is Good! The great thing about TWH is it has grown so much just since I started. Embrace change, keep an open mind and go with the flow.

Reason I work at TWH: It’s a great company. I can honestly say that I like everyone I work with. There isn’t one single person I can say that works for TWH that I don’t like.

Favorite part of the job: Client site visits. Doing a site visit for a client that has never seen the hotel gives me goose bumps.

Reason I work at TWH: The list goes on and on, but towards the very top is that everyone works together and would do anything to help a team member out.

Favorite TWH moment: The Employee Appreciation Cookout at the Texas Rangers Ballpark. It was such a great opportunity to show our associates how much we appreciate all their hard work. And the music and food were amazing.

Favorite part of the job: Sounds cliché, but I love people. I’ve always been (sometimes to my wife’s irritation) the friendliest person in the room.

Reason I work at TWH: Anyone who has spent any amount of time around Marriott and the development of their brands knows who Gene Carter is. The chance to work with Mr. Carter was something I just could not pass up.

Favorite TWH moment: I have had so many great moments, but I think my favorite ones are opening new hotels. There’s just something about growing the economy, adding jobs and grabbing market share.
