Favorite TWH moment: The conference at the Hard Rock in Vegas where I was awarded Sales Person of the Year. Totally unexpected. I can’t even remember what I said on stage. It was an incredible moment.

Reason I work at TWH: Employees respect each other, care for each other and appreciate each other at all levels of the company.

Favorite TWH moment: The Employee Appreciation Cookout at the Texas Rangers Ballpark. It was such a great opportunity to show our associates how much we appreciate all their hard work. And the music and food were amazing.

Favorite part of the job: Sounds cliché, but I love people. I’ve always been (sometimes to my wife’s irritation) the friendliest person in the room.

Reason I work at TWH: Anyone who has spent any amount of time around Marriott and the development of their brands knows who Gene Carter is. The chance to work with Mr. Carter was something I just could not pass up.

Favorite TWH moment: I have had so many great moments, but I think my favorite ones are opening new hotels. There’s just something about growing the economy, adding jobs and grabbing market share.

Reason I work at TWH: I’ve never worked for a company that allows you to use your own management style. I also like knowing that everyone in the company is here to help – from accounting to property support to the regional managers. It’s nice to know that during these trying times, someone higher up has your back.

What I’ve learned at TWH: Before TWH, I didn’t know it was possible for a management company to be so organized and have a great relationship.

Favorite TWH moment: Meeting everyone at conference last year and being able to put names with faces.
