Jeff Blackman — Executive Vice President, Operations

Favorite TWH moment: Finding the right person for the right job and watching them have success.

Biggest career rush: Being involved with the development and growth of a new hotel brand - Candlewood Suites (1995-2001).

Reason I work at TWH: Ability to make change and have an impact. Ability to be creative, original, entrepreneurial, to solve problems and, most of all, to celebrate success.

Now, not just anyone could handle that level of responsibility. And fortunately for TWH, Jeff’s not just anyone. With more than fifteen years in the hotel business, he has an uncommon breadth of experience that makes him uniquely suited to oversee hotel operations.

Before joining TWH, he was vice president–development with Marriott International. Before that, he was vice president asset management and underwriting for Ashford Hospitality Trust. Before that, he ran the market planning department for Candlewood Suites and was instrumental in the development and growth of the new brand. Before that, he was manager of development and acquisitions with Wyndham International. And before that, he was born in Kansas. Oh, and there are a couple more accomplishments he's super proud of – daughters Ellie and Mia.
