Denise Cote — Corporate Director of Revenue Management
Most surprising career moment: When Mr. Marriott, Sr. came and sat down in my office, just to chat.
Proudest job moment: Once, a really difficult GM I worked with thanked me for being the best revenue manager he had ever worked with. Very humbling.
Reason I work at TWH: The family environment and the ability to be recognized for hard work. The amazing team I have the privilege of working with.
Denise is responsible for the Revenue Management department for TWH. She directs the team responsible for optimizing RevPAR through ADR by analyzing and forecasting demand and establishing effective selling strategies. (Not everybody knows what those words mean, but let’s just say she does really important stuff for TWH really well).
Denise joined Texas Western Hospitality in November 2009 with over 15 years of hospitality industry experience. And she has held various positions within the Revenue Management discipline during that time. She spent more than 11 years with Marriott Revenue Management, 10 of which were spent as Director of Reservations for the JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona.
With two fantastic girls, Jessica, a nursing student at University of Arizona, and Kenzie, a freshman at Northern Arizona University, she and her husband are now empty nesters. Which gives her plenty of time to hike, workout, or spend time with her newest passion, shooting. Denise is very involved in her church and volunteers on a regular basis.
