Yes, his name is J. And while it’s short on letters, he’s not short on accomplishments with TWH.
He began his career as the Housekeeping Manager at Houston’s JW Marriott. After he cleaned up there, achieving a 90%+ Cleanliness Guest Satisfaction Score, he began moving up the ranks of the company, making a great impression every step of the way. In fact, he was promoted to Area Director of Sales after serving only one year as Director of Sales, turning a $100,000 revenue shortfall into a $65,000 surplus! After joining TWH in 2010 as the General Manager of the Hilton Phoenix Chandler, J. spent the rest of the year repositioning the hotel as a terrific place for small to midsized group meetings and driving rates within all segments of the business. That is, of course, until he was promoted to Area General Manager in January 2012.
Of all of his accomplishments, he believes marrying his wife Michelle and creating a family with sons Jackson and Owen are his biggest. “We have so much fun together and are so proud of one another,” he said. He’s spent his career working in the Sunbelt, and he and his family thoroughly enjoy the Arizona lifestyle. Needless to say, TWH is proud to have him on the team!
